Dietrich College Office of Undergraduate Studies

The Dietrich College Office of Undergraduate Studies (OUS) a branch of the college’s dean’s office and is run by:

Joseph Devine, Associate Dean for Undergraduate Studies
Brian Junker, Associate Dean for Academic Affairs
Gloria Hill, Assistant Dean and director, Dietrich College Academic Advisory Center

OUS serves the needs of DC undergraduate students through a variety of roles, programs and initiatives that are college-wide, and not department- or program-specific, including:

• Student-Defined Major Program
• Senior Honors Program
• Study Abroad Scholarships
• Summer Internship Opportunity Grants
• Research Training Course Program
• General Education Program
• Freshman Seminar Program
• College-wide awards, such as the Elliott Dunlap Smith Award for Teaching and Educational Service, the Dietrich College Graduate Student Teaching Award, and the Gretchen Lankford Award
