Computing and Library ResourcesThe
H&SS Computing Group provides complete hardware and software support,
backup services, and even purchasing support to H&SS faculty, staff,
and graduate students. View the H&SS
Computing Support page for details. In addition to support services, the college maintains a computing lab in Baker Hall 239. This lab provides computing resources to all H&SS faculty, staff, and students. If you have questions for us, you can contact us by email, by phone, or come to Baker Hall 239. Staff are usually available Monday through Friday, 8:30 am until 5:00 pm. The University Libraries website has a complete listing of all campus libraries, including location, when they're open, and who can check books out. Hunt Library is the main university library, but the campus also enjoys many specialized library resources--from the Hunt Botanical Institute to the Software Engineering Institute Library. If you still can't find what you're looking for, Carnegie Mellon University Libraries also offer reciprocal borrowing privileges with many other institutions. Check out their website for more information.
