H&SS Alumni Giving OpportunitiesThe National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) has awarded a $500,000 Challenge Grant to the Humanities Center at Carnegie Mellon. Income from the endowment will, among other things, fund research fellows who will bring new areas of expertise to humanities students, support for the humanities curriculum, interdisciplinary humanities research, and community and campus outreach. To make a contribution towards this challenge, please contact University Advancement at(412) 268-5138. The Dean's Innovation Fund enables our students to expand their opportunities through internships, study abroad, and innovational educational offerings like the Humanities Scholars Program, a rigorous, four-year interdisciplinary program that is open by invitation to select H&SS applicants each year. To make a contribution, please contact University Advancement at(412) 268-5138. Become a part of campus history! Purchase a commemorative engraved brick, which will be installed in the sidewalk next to the new wing of Baker Hall. Your brick will be laser-engraved with your name or a short message to last a lifetime. Each brick has space for up to three lines of text. Please send email to Joanne Ursenbach for further information.
